RP96 "Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Janzen Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Cabernet Sauvignon has a very earthy nose of damp soil, dried leaves, iron ore and mossy bark over a core of black currants and mulberries with a hint of unsmoked tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with earth and mineral suggestions with a fine-grained foundation and plenty of freshness on the epically long finish. 194 cases were made."
