DR97 "A sublime wine which delights not only for its power and punch, bright fruit and still-youthful energy, but because you can place this in St-Emilion on limestone, with the blood-iron tang to the aromas, a tight, compact frame, liquorice undercurrent and chalky finish. Round, forward, agile and supple, easy to drink and enjoy, yet somehow it feels as if this hasn't fully hit its stride.
