"Lemon, pear, white flowers, spices and almonds meld together in the 2012 Chardonnay Carneros. Soft, textured and inviting, the 2012 is open for business today. This is a fairly lifted, floral style for Aubert. In 2012 the Carneros emerges from a new, young-vine block within the Hyde vineyard planted with the Wente clone, but the flavor profile is a little brighter and more citrus-driven than is typically the case in most Wente Chardonnays."
