RP98+ "Sporting a deep garnet-purple color, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr Crane Vineyard is a little youthfully mute at this stage, requiring a bit of swirling to reveal delicate notes of Morello cherries, crushed blackcurrants and fresh blackberries plus suggestions of rusty nails, Indian spices, unsmoked cigars and cedar. The full-bodied palate delivers stylish, impactful black fruit and exotic spice layers, supported by ripe, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing on that signature, lingering mineral note.
