Product Description
DR97 Richly aromatic but not overripe, this is is still expressive but a bit more elegant than when I tasted out of barrel. It offers ripe apple and pear with hints of hazelnut and spice, balanced by a citrus edge and enough freshness on the palate to bring everything back into focus. The 3ha holding is divided into four parcels, each vinified and aged separately in large and small barrels to capture the freshness, giving the wine vibrancy that bodes well for the future. 20,416 bottles produced. - Charles Curtis
