Product Description
Jeb Dunnuck writes, "Spiced red and black berry fruits, ground pepper, herbes de Provence, and savory flower notes all emerge from the 2022 Red Wine Life & Death, an incredibly textured, full-bodied red blend that has velvety tannins, a round, layered mouthfeel, and a great finish. It's a perfect example of a wine bringing incredible richness and depth without any sensation of weight or heaviness." BT 96-99 Published Aug 15, 2024
Lisa Perrotti-Brown for The Wine Independent writes, "The 2022 Life And Death Red Wine is a blend of 43.5% Grenache, 22% Syrah, 13% Mourvèdre, 13% Graciano, and 8.5% Petite Sirah. 25% whole clusters were included in the fermentation, and it was aged for 21 months in French oak, 70% new. Deep garnet-purple, it prances out with showy scents of dried roses, raspberry pie, and Morello cherries, plus suggestions of juicy blueberries and dark chocolate. Full-bodied, the palate is plush and lively with bright black and blue fruit layers and a long perfumed finish. 563 cases were made." BT 95-97 Published Sep 19, 2024
