Product Description
AG98 The 2022 Richebourg Grand Cru is magnificent. And I say that as someone who at times struggles to connect with this site. Not this year. Sepia-toned, ample and layered, with mind-blowing balance, the 2022 offers up an exotic mélange of black fruit, gravel, incense, licorice, new leather and whole cluster savoriness, all with its usual reserve of power. The 2022 is quite simply one of the best Richebourgs in recent memory. For those who can, don't miss it!
DR98 More impressive now, if possible, than it was from barrel, with more substance, density, and structure, yet it does not lack abundant, nuanced aromas of ripe mulberry and plum fruit. The wine gives an impression of great intensity; there is impressive length and depth of flavour. The domaine has uprooted nearly 0.9ha of the vines in lieu-dit Les Vérroilles, which has increased the concentration of the Richebourg and carried it nearly to the level of the monopoles. 14,526 bottles produced in 2022.
