This is the first vintage of the Oakville wine that is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, and that is an inspired choice. All the elements are so well put together. This large-scaled, vibrant 2021 hits all the right notes. It is easily one of the best wines I have ever tasted at Futo.
JS100 This is a wine with incredible tannins that are powdery and open with a texture that floats across your palate. Full yet feathery and light. It shows aromas and flavors that are like a fermenting vat of cabernet sauvignon that is al dente ripe and in a perfect state. Graphite and blackcurrants with violets. Unique texture to this wine. So contemporary. Made from 100% cabernet sauvignon. Hard not to drink this.
