LP98 "The 2021 Widowmaker En Chamberlin Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Chamberlin Vineyard, planted in 2000 on grafted vines. It's 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 18 months in French oak, 30% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, it strides confidently out of the glass with classic notes of crushed blackcurrants, plums, and pencil shavings, followed by hints of lilacs and garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a solid structure of firm, grainy tannins and plenty of freshness supporting the pure, expressive black and blue fruit layers, finishing long and fragrant."
