VM97 "A total showstopper, the 2021 God Only Knows entices with a gorgeous blend of wild herbs, lavender, rose petals, cedar dust and dried strawberries. This is a total pleasure on the palate, silken and round with juicy acidity and crisp wild berry fruits complemented by violet inner florals. Hints of orange peel mix with tart blackberry over a bed of fine tannins as this finishes dramatically long and with a resonance of hard red candies that lingers on—wow. It's amazing that this is from a warmer vintage because the 2021 comes across as remarkably fresh and nearly cool-climate in feel. This is a Pinot lover's Grenache." EG for VM Dec 2024
JS97 "Gorgeous, funky, effusive aromas lead to meaty, roasted black fruit, wood smoke and black pepper. Fermented with stems included, this wine is alive with woodsy, savory elements that complement the deep blackberry and dried black cherry fruit. From biodynamically grown grapes.
