Sourced from the same north-facing vineyard in eastern Oakville, it delivers stunningly complex notions of leather, spice and black cherries on the nose, a richly concentrated yet weightless feel on the palate and a long, softly tannic finish. LP99 "The 2021 St Eden is deep garnet-purple in color. Notes of boysenberry preserves, creme de cassis, and blueberry preserves jump from the glass, followed by hints of dusty soil, cumin seed, and crushed rocks. Full-bodied, rich, and densely laden with fruit, the palate delivers fantastic tension and exhilarating black and blue fruit layers, finishing on a lingering anise note." LPB for TWI Apr 2024
