Product Description
BH98 "This is even more reserved and requires extended swirling to gradually coax the even spicier aromas of red currant, black raspberry, discreet wood toast and a floral top note. There is superb mid-palate density to the equally sized and powerful flavors that brim with dry extract as well as an abundance of minerality on the massively long finish where a touch of warmth slowly emerges. This isn't quite as structured, but it is still a wine that should reward between two and three decades of cellaring. This too is stunningly brilliant. (Drink starting 2045)" Allen Meadows for Burghound, Jan 2023
AG97+ "The 2020 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru has a refined bouquet, beautifully poised with brambly red fruit, hints of sous-bois and incense. This is utterly seductive. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins. It is fresh and quite edgy in style, with marked acidity that lends this tension. Certainly, there are plenty of tannins on the robust finish, a Clos-de-Bèze built for the long haul. It is absolutely divine. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. (Drink between 2030-2060)" Neal Martin For Vinous, Oct 2024
