2020 Alain Hudelot-Noellat, Chambolle-Musigny, Bottle (750ml)

"There is a silky, sweet cherry and blackberry fruit, with a lifted floral note plus a hint of earthy minerality. On the palate there is impressive concentration and length for a village wine. Very well done. For me, this is the pick of the village-level wines in the cellar in 2020. It is blended across 11 different parcels representing 1.85ha in total; it's a snapshot in a bottle of Chambolle-Musigny. It was picked at 13% alcohol this year (no small feat), and vinified as 20% whole-cluster before ageing with just 15% new casks." CC for DR Oct 2021
