Product Description
DR98 "Another stunning vintage from this brilliant estate that is just delivering hit after hit. Concentration and intensity right from the initial aromatics, damson, cassis and blackberry fruits that you could almost drink now until the tannins build up across the palate and remind you that this is built to last. Velvety texture, black chocolate and crushed stone minerality on the finish. One of the wines of the vintage." JA for DR May 2020
LP97 "The 2019 Beausejour Duffau-Lagarrosse is made from 86% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple in color, it comes barreling out with bold notes of stewed black plums, blackberry pie, and fruitcake, plus wafts of tar, Indian spices, and licorice. The medium to full-bodied palate is rich and densely packed with expressive black fruits, framed by firm, rounded tannins, finishing long and spicy." LP for TWI May 2023
