JD97+ "The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Blankiet Estate Proprietary Red is straight-up incredible, with medium to full-bodied aromas and flavors of cassis, graphite, lead pencil shavings, and tobacco leaf. It reminds me of a great vintage of Château Lafite with its elegance and purity, and it builds slowly on the palate, with ripe tannins, a seamless mouthfeel, and a great finish. It’s not massive by any means but is just pure class. It should have 30 years of longevity. The blend is 83.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, and the balance Petit Verdot that saw 80% new French oak." JD May 2022

AG97 "The 2019 Proprietary Red Paradise Hills Vineyard is a powerful, austere wine that is going to demand patience. Its potential, though is evident. Aromatic deep and beautifully layered in the glass, the 2019 soars with captivating aromatics. There is plenty of depth to match. Dark-fleshed fruit, graphite, spice and licorice build effortlessly. Next to the 2018, the 2019 is perhaps not quite as rich, but it appears to have a bit more aromatic presence in the early going.
