Product Description
JD97 "A brilliant mountain Cabernet, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain has textbook notes of bay leaf, chocolate, forest floor, and both black and blue fruits. With lots of tannins, full-bodied richness, and a mouthcoating texture, give bottles 2-4 years and enjoy over the following two decades." JD Jan 2021
RP96 "In concert with consulting winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown, Revana has crafted a wonderful 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Cold Springs Vineyard from a site on Howell Mountain. Marked by scents of blueberry, boysenberry, pine forest and vanilla, it delivers a compelling and complex bouquet. The wine is full-bodied, richly textured and tannic but also fully ripe, with a long, velvety finish and more notes of pine needles and forest berries. It's a terrific effort, offered at what must be considered a reasonable price for Napa Valley." JC for TWA Jan 2023
