VM93 "The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru offers ebullient red fruit on the nose with pressed rose petal and crush stone, a touch of incense emerging with time. There is wonderful mineralité on the sweet, candied palate, touches of dark chocolate and a liberal sprinkling of white pepper on the finish. Not quite at the level of the Clos Saint-Jacques - but not far off. " NM for VM Dec 2020
