Product Description
VM98 The 2018 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru is very cohesive and pure on the nose with dark cherries, raspberry tart and crushed flowers. Hints of Earl Grey emerge with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. Wonderfully-integrated new oak, quite harmonious with an noticeable peppery finish that is long and tender, but becomes just a little drier with air. Give it at least a couple of years in bottle. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 red tasting.
