Product Description
JS97 "Exquisitely fine tannins to the currant, lead-pencil and chocolate character. The palate is full, yet very refined and linear with a long, lingering finish. Such polish and tension. The tannins are intense, yet so fine, giving almost a powdery texture. So Lafite-like. Best Carruades ever? 56% cabernet sauvignon and 38% merlot, the rest cabernet franc."
DR95 "The 2018 Carruades, stored in magnum, is immediately appealing, with dark fruits on the nose infused with coconut and milk chocolate. Richly hedonistic on the palate, it features plush, velvety tannins reminiscent of milk chocolate-coated blackcurrants and dark plums, complemented by notes of clove and liquorice. The elegant, dark-spiced fruits deliver exceptional drinkability, finishing with a hint of bright cranberry freshness."
