JD97+ From a site just beside Tench Vineyard, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Harbison Vineyard is another powerful, full-bodied wine with lifted notes of blue fruits, violets, spring flowers, and black olives. Incredibly floral on the nose, it has building tannins, a solid spine of acidity, and a great finish, all making for a stunning Napa Valley Cabernet to enjoy over the coming two decades.
RP97 The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Harbison Vineyard was aged for 19 months in French oak barrels, 100% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, it needs a little swirling to bring out gorgeous scents of warm cassis, stewed plums and black cherries plus hints of dusty soil, pencil lead and lavender and an exotic waft of cardamom. Full-bodied, the palate is beautifully ripe, featuring finely grained tannins and lively backbone of freshness supporting the elegantly played, fragrant fruit, finishing long and evocative. 211 cases were made.
