"(Morlet Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Mon Chevalier Sonoma Red) The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Mon Chevalier is a fine vintage for drinking now and over the next 10-15 years. It's perhaps not quite as expressive or dynamic as some of the other top vintages, but it offers tremendous appeal and immediacy. Silky tannins and plush contours add to its considerable allure. A burst of dark red fruit, plum, sweet spice and cedar linger. (Drink between 2022-2037)" Antonio Galloni

It's another beautiful, Bordeaux-like wine from Morlet that has lots of cassis and red plum fruits as well as cedarwood, graphite, crushed rocks, and violet aromas and flavor. Young and relatively unevolved, it has juicy acidity, plenty of mid-palate depth, sweet fruit, and a beautiful finish.
