Product Description
DR97 "The Fourriers are one of only five owners of this superb premier cru, with a 0.89ha parcel that was planted in 1910. This is a wonderfully dense, layered expression of the terroir with flavours of liquorice, plum, black cherry and strawberry, granular tannins and laser-like focus and precision." TA for DR Nov 2018
William Kelley for RobertParker.com writes, "The vintage is another great success for the domaine, though the wines certainly bear the stamp of the vintage in their lavish, sun-kissed fruit tones and somewhat broader-than-usual shoulders—but these qualities are rendered with exquisite purity and the structural refinement one takes for granted at this address. I also revisited a selection of the domaine's 2017s, which are showing brilliantly from bottle, and I'm certainly happy to have a few cases in my own cellar." Published: Feb 13, 2020
