JD94 "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard La BAM isn't going to make you forget the 2016, but it's a beautiful wine in this challenging vintage. Cassis, blueberries, black raspberries, flowers, and spice all flow to a medium to full-bodied, silky, elegant Cabernet that shows more and more floral nuances with time in the glass. I love its tannins (which can be problematic in the vintage), and it has plenty of mid-palate depth and a great finish. If you have these in the cellar, you won't be disappointed." JD May 2023
