VM94 "The 2016 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru has a very elegant bouquet: perfumed red cherry fruit, raspberry and light oyster shell aromas evolving with aeration. Very comely! The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, plenty of vivacious red fruit laced with orange zest/blood orange that segues into a poised and quite persistent finish. An excellent Suchots from a Domaine that deserves a higher profile. Tasted blind at the 2016 Burgfest tasting." NM for VM Oct 2019
