Product Description

JD99 "Incorporating slightly less Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Songbook is 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot. It too offers a profound array of smoked black cherries, blueberries, gamey meats, sagebrush and forest floor. A hypothetical mix of Haut Brion and Harlan estate, this monster of a wine hits the palate with a mammoth-sized level of fruit, loads of sweet tannins, no hard edges, and utterly world class length" JD Jan. 2019.

RP98 "The deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Songbook Cabernet Sauvignon is blended of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. It comes prancing out of the glass with a beautiful display of crushed black cherries, black raspberries, cassis and potpourri with touches of pencil shavings, fragrant soil, allspice and cedar chest. Full-bodied, opulently fruited and very seductive in the mouth, it offers a tantalizing array of perfumed red and black fruits with a plush texture and very long finish" LP for TWA Oct. 2018.
