Product Description

RP96 "This is one of three single-vineyard selections of Cabernet Franc made by Andrea Franchetti. The 2015 Campo di Camagi is a super precise and elegantly delineated wine. You really feel that sharp and etched quality that you get with this mighty French grape. Black fruit and spice find unity and fuel the great power and determination that is displayed here. This wine is just begging for more bottle age. The young tannins are far from reaching their full integration. Put this bottle at the back of your cellar for now." ML for TWA Oct 2017

Monica Larner for RobertParker.com writes, "Tenuta di Trinoro is very consciously located far away from the Chianti Classico appellation. Because this estate exists in a location that is absolutely void of neighboring wine estates, I have decided to add these notes to this report. Honestly, there is nowhere else to put them until Trinoro gets its own appellation (something I hope is in the works). These are outlier wines in terms of style and substance. Solitary and introspective, Andrea Franchetti is one of Italy's most focused and talented winemakers. This is a beautiful set of new releases, and I'd like to draw your attention to the three single-vineyard expressions of Cabernet Franc now in production. Each is exciting in its own distinct manner." Published: Oct 31, 2017
