Product Description
RP98+ Deep inky purple-black in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve opens with expressive warm blackberries, black currant jelly and plum preserves notes with suggestions of sautéed herbs, dried beef, crushed rocks and underbrush plus a waft of incense. Full-bodied, generously fruited, plush and decadent in the mouth, it features loads of savory and fruity layers with a firm, velvety texture and just enough freshness, finishing long and layered.
JD98 A more opulent, sexy wine compared to the classic Cabernet Sauvignon, the 400-case 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Merlot that spent 22 months in new French oak. This massive, incredibly hedonistic beauty boasts tons of blackcurrants, plums, mocha, spice-box and licorice aromas and flavors. Deep, super concentrated, uber-ripe and incredibly sexy, with sweet tannin, remarkable purity, and a killer finish, it needs 3-4 years to chill out and will keep for two decades or more. I followed this wine for multiple days and it only got better with air. It’s a gorgeous wine.
