JD97 "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Coeur de Vallee is deep garnet colored. It flounces out of the glass with wonderfully gregarious scents of raspberry coulis, warm cassis, and crushed black cherries with touches of dried flowers, cinnamon toast, and camphor. Full-bodied, rich, and opulent in the mouth, with velvety tannins and soft acidity, it finishes long and showy. The blend is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc coming from Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard." JD Jun 2018
RP96+ "Blended of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Coeur de Vallee has a deep garnet-purple color and slightly reticent nose at this youthful stage, revealing hints of crushed blackberries and blueberries with touches of loam, underbrush, garrigue, mocha and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, firm, concentrated and with great tension, it has lovely ripe, grainy tannins and plenty of earthy/meaty personality, which comes through on the palate and the long finish. 325 cases were made."
