Product Description
RP98 "Made from 100% Merlot, the 2015 Merlot Roberta’s Reserve has a deep garnet-purple color and gorgeous nose of black plums, warm blueberries and mocha with touches of anise, red roses and spice box. Medium to full-bodied and densely packed with layers of blue and black fruits and perfumed notions, it has a firm yet plush backbone to support and a very long, layered finish." LPB for TWA Dec 2017
Robert Perker writes, "The Kapcsándy Family Winery, with their State Lane Vineyard on the Yountville crossroad, burst on the scene just over ten years ago and now has 20 acres planted, producing just four cuvées. The 2015s saw the earliest harvest ever at the estate, commencing and finishing before the end of September, and producing strikingly rich, intense wines that are open-knit and opulent, with sweet, well-integrated tannin."
