RP96+ Composed of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Cabernet Franc, aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon To Kalon gives a very deep garnet-purple color and wonderfully showy, flamboyant nose of crème de cassis, blackberry tart and black forest cake with underlying suggestions of Indian spices and incense. The densely packed, medium to full-bodied palate fills the mouth with black fruit preserves and exotic spices, supported by firm, grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing long. 201 cases were made.
