Product Description
LP96 "2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Coeur de Vallée is made from 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Cabernet Franc, coming from Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard. Deep garnet-brick in color, it waltzes out with fragrant scents of dried roses, kirsch, and cranberries, opening out to reveal hints of peppermint tea, crushed rocks, and unsmoked cigars, plus a touch of cinnamon stick. The medium- to full-bodied palate is bright and youthful, framed by firm, grainy tannins and great tension, finishing long and fragrant. Stunning." Lisa Perrotti-Brown for the Wine Palate Apr 2026
AG 95 "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Cœur de Vallée has aged exceptionally well. In 2011, Cœur de Vallée was made entirely from To Kalon fruit and was a blend of nearly equal parts Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. That choice paid off big time, as the wine is absolutely exquisite. Bright floral, spice and tobacco accents lend freshness. Readers can look forward to another decade of fine drinking."
