"The altitude of this vineyard is clearly in evidence as the nose is cooler than is typical in 2009 with its airy and ultra-elegant yet still notably ripe nose of stone, spice and red pinot liqueur aromas that merge seamlessly into the equally mineral-driven, detailed and vibrant flavors that are at once supple but firm and seriously persistent. This is a classy wine of finesse and lace that is sufficiently forward that it could be enjoyed if desired though it will of course age well too.
