Product Description
JS 96 "Ravishing aromas of currants and black fruits follow through to a full body, with super velvety tannins and a long, long finish. It lasts for minutes on the palate. Wonderful. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Merlot. From organically grown grapes. Better in 2015, but why wait?" James Suckling
AG 95+ "The 2008 Sammarco is one of the more mid-weight, feminine wines in this vertical. Smoke, black cherries, mint, cloves and violets open up in the glass. This is another Sammarco that won't take forever to open up. Lithe, feminine and gracious, the 2008 is similar in style to the 2005, but a bit sweeter through the middle. When it was younger, the 2008 was more impressive, but it seems to be going through a dormant phase today. (Drink between 2018-2038)" Antonio Galloni
