Allen Meadows for BurgHound writes, "A touch of wood is also in evidence though it does not interfere with the transparency of the even riper nose that offers up cassis, plum and black berry fruit aromas that are extremely spicy, pure and relatively expressive for a young Richebourg and leads to rich, full and intensely mineral suffused big-bodied flavors that possess absolutely lovely balance and length if perhaps not the usual power.
