JA94 "Rich dark classic claret in colour, a sweetness to the palate and the layers and complexity on this are excellent. On aromas alone this displays real class and complexity. Cassis and bilberry notes are clear, we are still in primary fruit territory, but they are beginning to stretch out and get to good drinkability. It has wonderful precision across the palate, intense and complex but far from a monster, this has refinement and a gorgeous juicy drinkability. Wonderful stuff, again from not the most obvious of vintages." JA for DR Apr 2018
