Product Description
RP96 "The 2006 Continuum is composed of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 16% Petit Verdot. Its opaque purple color is followed by a rich, sumptuous bouquet of blackberries, creme de cassis, incense, graphite, and a hint of burning embers. This powerful, full-bodied, rich wine possesses considerable precision as well as purity. Both vintages will benefit from 2-3 years of cellaring, and both should age beautifully for 25-30+ years.
Tim Mondavi’s new project continues to display exceptional promise. Kudos to Tim Mondavi for continuing the legacy of his family." RP Dec 2009
JD96 "Not far off the style of the 2011, the 2006 Continuum nevertheless brings another level of richness and depth. Coming all from To Kalon fruit at this point, it has a broad, layered mouthfeel, ripe, velvety tannins, and perfumed notes of assorted red and black fruits, flowery incense, spice, and leather. This complex, nuanced, incredibly satisfying effort will hold nicely for another 7-8 years, with a gradual decline thereafter." JD Jan 2025
