Product Description
JS95 This has pretty aromas of dried flowers, seaweed, black fruit, salted olives, dark chocolate and tar. Lovely freshness and elegance on the palate, with a full body and tight, silky tannins. Lots to like. 100% merlot.
DR95 A sunny September in 2005 closed a vintage that had been interspersed with rain showers and mild temperatures. 'The result is a wine that’s very fresh and vertical,' says Frascolla. It has an opaque, almost black colour with a nose full of smoke, cream, violets, perfumed meadow flowers and dark brambles. There's also a charred toast note from the oak. On the palate it is harmonious, with a beautiful texture and weight - not too heavy and not too light. This 2005 is another beautifully balanced and flowing Redigaffi punctuated by dark, roasted flavours on the finish.
