Allen Meadows for BurgHound writes, "An elegant, spicy and pure ripe red and black berry nose introduces sappy, rich, full and sweet big-boned flavors that are very Vosne in character as this is seductive, sweet and mouth coating on the velvety finish. There is real breed here and while Echézeaux is routinely criticized for not delivering a grand cru experience, this isn't one of those examples as the material is persuasively impressive."
