LP96 "The 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon, with 5% Cabernet Franc in the blend, is medium to deep brick colored. It bursts from the glass with perfumed notes of rose petals, clove oil, and candied violets, leading to hints of espresso, creme de cassis, and boysenberry preserves. The medium to full-bodied palate is packed with savory and juicy black fruit flavors, framed by firm, fine-grained tannins and beautiful freshness, leading to a long and fragrant finish for this gorgeous wine."
