Product Description
AG97 "The 1990 Maya boasts serious depth and intensity. Incredibly, the 1990 remains youthful, deep and concentrated, with frankly little in the way of aromatic development. Only one question remains. When will the 1990 Maya peak? A wine for the ages, the 1990 is a real stunner." AG for VM Jun 2014
RP96 "The 1990 Maya (almost equal proportions of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon) is a monster in the making. Its super-saturated, opaque black/ruby color is followed by a tight but promising nose of earth, cassis, smoke, and gobs of sweet fruit. In the mouth it is even richer, as well as more tannic than the regular Cabernet. The finish is long, sweet, and compelling." RP Oct 1993
Robert Parker writes, "This tiny producer has burst on the scene with some extraordinary wines. This exceptionally strong effort clearly merits buying as futures given the limited production and surprisingly modest prices." Published: Jun 22, 1992
