Product Description
JS95 The 1988 vintage is sort of forgotten. I remember it and I always appreciated the classic, even historical style of the wines, which are balanced and relatively low in alcohol compared to recent top vintages in Bordeaux. Granted, some wines can be slightly herbaceous. But this La Conseillante was a revelation when I drank it with friends in Chiang Mai, Thailand. So underrated, it shows light tobacco and cedar and dried mushrooms character. Lots of dried fruits. Bright and fresh acidity. So right.
