Eisele Altagracia Wine

In 2013, the Artemis Group (owners of Chateau Latour) purchased Eisele Vineyard from the Araujo family, changing the winery's name from Araujo Estate to Eisele Vineyard. While additional operations were altered, the Group continued crafting the Altagracia Cabernet Sauvignon, which debuted in the 1999 vintage. Named after Bart Araujo's grandmother, the Bordeaux-style blend is an everlasting symbol of Eisele Vineyard's impeccable heritage and quality.

Altagracia Wine: Napa Cult Cabernet

Eisele Altagracia Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from the vineyard's eastern parcels, combined with fruit purchased from other Napa vineyards. The fruit is hand-sorted in the vineyard, then crushed into small stainless-steel tanks, and ultimately fermented individually by vineyard blocks. Once complete, the wine is aged for 19 months in 80% new French oak barrels, producing a wine that can be enjoyed in its youth or cellar-aged for decades. Around 2,000 cases are produced each vintage, with bottles comprising 85-90% Cabernet Sauvignon and the remaining amounts split between Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

The wine was originally crafted as the estate's second label and has garnered acclaim from numerous critics, who argue that the wine is strong enough to stand on its own.
