"One of the stars of the vintage."
James Molesworth for Wine Spectator Re: 2011 Haut Brion

What does Robert Parker have to say about the 2011 Haut Brion? "The most amazing aspect of this terroir is that the wine, despite all its power and richness, literally dances on the palate, as if it were a 90 pound ballerina. This brilliant 2011 should evolve quickly, hitting its prime in 7-8 years, and drink beautifully for 20-25 years." RP Apr 2014! He would be talking about the Prime of 2011 being around 2022 to 2047!

Life is too short to not drink and collect Haut Brion as often as possible! Indulge in the best Bordeaux money can buy with our bottles of the star of the vintage 2011 Chateau Haut Brion! This wine is a great investment opportunity! It really should be more expensive! That is if you can resist drinking NOW! And consider the Double 100 Point 2019 Haut Brion!

Critical Acclaim:

Wine Spectator 95 Points

2011 Chateau Haut Brion

"This packs some serious density for the vintage, with layers of braised fig, blackberry pâte de fruit and dark currant paste, all inlaid with lively briar, tobacco leaf and roasted apple wood notes. Shows lots of energy through the finish, with the grip generating a mouthwatering feel. One of the stars of the vintage." James Molesworth for Wine Spectator March 2014

2019 Chateau Haut Brion

"A blend of 48.7% Merlot, 43.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 8.1% Cabernet Franc, the 2019 Haut-Brion is deep garnet-purple colored. It needs lots of swirling to begin to unlock beguiling scents of iron ore, Indian spices, roses, wood smoke, and licorice over a core of blueberry preserves, warm cassis, and blackberry pie, plus a an earthy waft of underbrush. The medium to full-bodied palate starts off quiet and grows into a crescendo of black and blue fruits with uplifting floral and earth accents, framed by super-ripe, fine-grained tannins, and finishing with long, lingering, exotic spice sparks." LPB May 2022 for The Wine Independent

Lisa Perrotti-Brown - 100 Points

"The black cassis comes out of the glass, together with iodine, sandalwood and subtle moss and wet-bark undertones, then turning to violets. The palate is mind-blowing, with a cashmere texture that unravels on the palate and continues on for minutes. It's full of superbly complex, ethereal character and mouth-feel, One of the wines of the vintage. As glorious as it may be to taste now, this is one for your deep cellar." JS Mar 2022
