RP95 "The 2014 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts has an engaging bouquet that is very terroir expressive and well defined. It offers vivid redcurrant and wild strawberry fruit enriched by woodland scents, damp moss and crushed stone. The palate comes across as very structured and saline, quite masculine after tasting the 2015 from barrel, though Sebastien Cathiard pointed out that after a month it seemed to close up. Whilst not quite as riveting as the 2015, it still fulfills the promise of the barrel sample I tasted last year." NM Dec 2016
